Recorded on July 7th, 1994 at the Palais des Sports in Paris

    1. Tutu (Marcus Miller)
    2. The King Is Gone (Marcus Miller)
    3. Looking up (Michel Petrucciani)

Marcus Miller - bass
Michel Petrucciani - piano
Bireli Lagrene - guitar
Kenny Garrett - alto sax
Lenny White - drums
The concert was recorded on July 7th, 1994 at the Palais des Sports in Paris, during the Dreyfus label's second "Dreyfus Night". Michel Petrucciani was the master of ceremonies. The quintet was organized spontaneously. The five musicians had not had the opportunity to play together before, with the exception of Michel Petrucciani with Lenny White, and Marcus Miller with Kenny Garrett. These latter two had played the previous night in Paris with Marcus Miller's group and had enthusiastically welcomed Francis Dreyfus' invitation to join the special concert presented here.

Special thanks go to Luc Gaurichon and his team.
